Prospect Urgent Care was opened to bring healthcare to a medically underserved community. We recognize that access to quality healthcare facilities is hard to come across in rural communities like Ashtabula County. However, our medical facility opened in 2019 to bridge the gap and make healthcare more accessible to residents of Ashtabula, Geneva, Conneaut, Jefferson, and surrounding communities. We are here for you and your family. Our walk in clinic treats minor injuries and illnesses. Our urgent cares wait time is short compared to local emergency rooms. Prospect Urgent Care is located in the Old Ponderosa building in Ashtabula, Ohio. Our goal is to keep you safe and protected at all times. If you do not have insurance and are suffering from injuries or illnesses, our medical facility will help you get treatment starting at just $80. Our walk in urgent care facility does not require an appointment.
If you can not get into your primary care doctor or do not have a PCP, visit Prospect Urgent Care for your medical needs. We are a walk-in urgent care based in Northeast Ohio. We are open seven days a week from 10:00 am-8:00 pm to serve you and your family in times of need.
Answer: It would be $80 to be seen by one of our medical providers. Please note that additional services, such as laceration repairs, X-Rays, injections, breathing treatments, etc, would come with additional fees.
Answer: Yes. We treat children regardless of age.
Answer: Our hours of operation are 9 am-8 pm on weekdays. On weekends, we are 10 am-8 pm.
Answer: Yes. All of our locations have on-site X-Rays. Our medical providers will read the X-Rays the same day you are seen, and a copy of your X-Ray will be sent to our radiologist for a second opinion.

Yes. We accept Medicaid and Medicare at Prospect Urgent Care. Please note that we only accept Ohio Medicaid plans, we are unable to accept out of state Medicaid.
Answer: Yes. Our DOT physicals are $120. Please call ahead to ensure that a DOT-certified provider is working that day.
Answer: No. We are a walk-in clinic so no appointments are required. Patients are evaluated and treated on a first-come first-serve basis.
Answer: Our medical facility is located in Ashtabula, Ohio. We are located in the Old Ponderosa building on Route 20.
Answer: This is a difficult question to answer because each patient is different. Patients who need X-rays, splint applications, diagnostic tests, etc, generally take longer than those who do not. However, we take great pride in getting patients in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Typically, patients will spend about 45 minutes at our facility.
